First genus action plan launched to galvanise conservation for Asian langurs across Southeast Asia
In a collaborative effort between international primate experts and conservationists, the IUCN SSC Primate Specialist Group and Mandai Nature, which hosts the Southeast Asia Regional Resource Centre of IUCN SSC Conservation Planning Specialist Group, Re:wild, German Primate Center and Primate Conservation Inc have launched the Asian langurs (Presbytis) Conservation Action Plan 2024-2034.

Wildlife Guardians: Protecting biodiversity in our own backyard
Nestled within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve are renowned zoological parks such as Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise. Over the years, the wildlife parks have also become a key habitat for wildlife native to Singapore. As the conservation arm of Mandai Wildlife Group, Mandai Nature collaborates with the Group to ensure that these native populations continue to thrive within the precinct for the long-term.

Population of Singapore's Critically Endangered Raffles' Banded Langur projected to grow to over 240 individuals by 2071
Once thought to be on the verge of extinction in Singapore, the Critically Endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur is predicted to have a population of around 244 individuals by 2071. Based on model calculations, the population is projected to double in the next 15 years from 75 to over 150.

New roadmap sets the course for urgent conservation of freshwater fishes in Southeast Asia
In a collaborative effort between conservation organisations, IUCN Species Survival Commission’s Asian Species Action Partnership (ASAP), SHOAL and Mandai Nature, The Strategic Framework to Accelerate Urgent Conservation Action for ASAP Freshwater Fishes in Southeast Asia was developed to help guide efforts for the urgent conservation of 90 Critically Endangered Southeast Asian freshwater fish species found across 11 countries.
